Kajganić on cooperation with SIPA: We couldn't even arrest Zoran Galić, we will overcome difficulties as always

(Patria) - Chief State Prosecutor, Milanko Kajganić, attended the conference "Justice BiH 2025: On the verge of VSTV reform and new directions in the fight against corruption" organized by Transparency International BiH.

Throughout the conference, Kajganić avoided journalists, as well as answers to questions concerning the current judicial situation in the process against the leadership of the RS.

However, at the insistence of journalists, Milanko Kajganić did not deny that there are difficulties in the relationship between the BiH Prosecutor's Office and certain police agencies.

When asked how the BiH Prosecutor's Office handles a situation where they may not have the full capacity support of certain police agencies, primarily SIPA, at any given moment, Kajganić answers:

"You mentioned SIPA, we, among other things, in a high corruption case, prosecuted the Deputy Director of SIPA, and we did not manage to apprehend him, but I have already answered these questions factually concerning difficulties in our work. When we have difficulties, we look for ways to overcome them, either within the Prosecutor's Office or together with other police and security agencies in BiH. It has been like this so far and it will be in the future because we have no other alternative," Kajganić answered diplomatically.

Let us remind you, Milorad Dodik, Radovan Višković, and Nenad Stevandić are suspected of the criminal offense of undermining the constitutional order. However, SIPA assessed their apprehension as too great a security risk. A central search has been issued for them, and the BiH Court has already ordered their detention. All suspects are at large and continue to be politically active, N1 reports.
