Kajan: Congratulations to Dr. Izetbegović, she had a thorny path, if only she had connections, where would she stop

The wife of the Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina was elected yesterday as the new director of the University Clinical Center in Sarajevo.

Dr. Sebija Izetbegović, formerly the director of the General Hospital „Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš“, which will soon be closed, was the only candidate for the top position of UKCS, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The election of Bakir Izetbegović's wife as the director of the largest hospital in Bosnia and Herzegovina has sparked a series of criticisms in the country. As we previously reported, the interim Management Board, which elected her to head UKCS, is actually composed of close acquaintances and associates of Sebija Izetbegović.

A large part of the public believes that Dr. Izetbegović used the political position of her husband to obtain this important position in the country.

"I also join in the congratulations to Sebija hanuma on her election as the new director of KCUS. Her path to success was certainly thorny. If only she had connections, where would she stop", wrote the Bosnian-Herzegovinian writer cynically, Ibrahim Kajan.

"Izetbegović is really starting off 2016, that's how it is when a scorpion is in the constellation of Capricorn!" – wrote analyst Srđan Puhalo. 

"I must congratulate Mrs. Izetbegović on her new position, with regret that it was not possible to place bets in the betting shops", wrote one social media user, reports Patria.
