SNSD officials will attend BiH Council of Ministers sessions, but deputies will not enter Parliament until the Collegium is filled

(Patria) - SNSD deputies will not attend sessions of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly until the Collegium of this house is filled, following the dismissal of Nebojša Radmanović on January 23. At the last session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, the proposal of the SNSD Club to appoint Branislav Borenović in place of Radmanović did not pass. There is currently no other proposal.

A session of the BiH Council of Ministers and an emergency session of the House of Representatives are scheduled for Wednesday, February 12. While SNSD ministers will attend the session of the BiH Council of Ministers, SNSD members will not appear on the parliamentary benches. The agenda has only one item, the dismissal of Elmedin Konaković, Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH.

"Regardless of the fact that this was our initiative, we will not participate in work that is unconstitutional and illegal because there is no Serbian member of the Collegium. If the practice of unconstitutional and unprocedural scheduling of sessions continues, we will be forced to seek legal protection mechanisms," said Club Chief Sanja Vulić.

They proposed the dismissal because Konaković requested that January 9 be declared a day of mourning in BiH.

At tomorrow's session, this initiative will certainly not have support, and a session has not yet been scheduled on the proposal for the dismissal of Konaković, which was signed by proposers from SDA and DF. SNSD has already announced it will support that request, but without opposition from the RS or three more votes, that dismissal is not possible.

The parties of the troika have managed to gather two deputies from NES and Šemsudin Mehmedović, as well as the opposition from the RS, and are attempting to form a new majority. However, without HDZ, that majority does not exist either. The dismissal of Radmanović only passed because SDA deputies also voted for it. For SDA and DF, all dismissals are acceptable, but they will not support any appointment.
