(Patria) - A solemn oath-taking ceremony for the 28th generation of cadets who successfully completed training for the rank of "Junior Inspector" at the Police Academy of the FMUP was held today at the base of the Police Support Sector.
Three women and 25 men will begin work on May 1 at the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton.
They were welcomed by the Police Commissioner, General Police Inspector Fatmir Hajdarević.
- You have been assigned to all criminal police departments from Stari Grad to Ilijaš. You are lucky that in all those departments, people work from whom you have something to learn.
Fight for that knowledge every day, because the knowledge you 'steal' from older colleagues, from those who have taken thousands of statements, interrogated hundreds of suspects, and heard hundreds of witnesses, will later be invaluable.
That knowledge cannot be found in books. So, use every day wisely - said Hajdarević.
The Minister of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, Admir Katica, congratulated the junior inspectors, stating that they are the new force of the police of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton from whom he has great expectations, and urged them to respect older colleagues and learn from them.
- Let their vast experience be a source of knowledge from which you will draw strength and wisdom.
At the same time, I expect your youth, education, and ambition to bring a new strength and momentum to the police of Sarajevo Canton and that with advanced and new ideas you will introduce changes and bring even better results - said Minister Katica.
