Ninth generation of SIPA cadets sworn in

(Patria) - At the premises of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) in East Sarajevo today, 15 SIPA cadets took a solemn oath in front of the Minister of Security of BiH Fahrudin Radončić. By taking the oath, they officially entered duty in SIPA with the rank of junior inspector.

After passing a rigorous selection process within the application procedure for admitting SIPA cadets, 15 trainees also attended and successfully completed basic police training to obtain the rank of junior inspector, conducted by the Agency for Education and Professional Development of Personnel.

Minister of Security of BiH Fahrudin Radončić said that they are expected to work professionally and dedicatedly and that he is pleased that SIPA has been strengthened by young personnel as of today, and called on the cadets for maximum professionalism and commitment in performing their jobs and tasks in their future workplaces.

Deputy Director of SIPA Đuro Knežević said that SIPA proudly promotes the 12th generation of cadets today, or the ninth generation to the rank of junior inspector, and told them that it is a great honor and responsibility to be a SIPA police officer, that they are expected to perform the duties of a police officer lawfully, professionally, and honorably, and to always be in service of the citizens.

In addition to the Minister of Security of BiH and the Deputy Director of SIPA, the ceremony was attended by the directors of the Agency for Education and Professional Development of Personnel, the Agency for Police Support, the Border Police of BiH, the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, the Deputy Director of the Agency for Forensic Examination and экспертиза, and representatives of the Intelligence-Security Agency of BiH, heads of SIPA organizational units, and other guests.
