When does President Grabar-Kitarović speak of extremists, does she mean Božo Ljubić too?

Sources of Croatian media from Pantovčak claim that there are currently five thousand Salafists in BiH, which, together with their supporters, makes about 10,000 people with very radical rhetoric and intentions, writes Patria agency.

There are also, it is further stated, enclaves in BiH that are already acting towards Croatia, but Croatian services are monitoring them very closely and are prepared, and the Office of the Croatian President emphasizes very good cooperation with the Islamic Community in Croatia.

The intensive propaganda of the Croatian president against Bosnia and Herzegovina is causing sharp reactions in the country. If problems of this kind exist in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia is doing nothing to help Bosnia and Herzegovina. On the contrary, its actions are making things more difficult for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Reactions of this type are also coming from BiH: When President Grabar-Kitarović speaks of radicals in BiH, does she also mean the extremely radical rhetoric of Božo Ljubić, president of the Main Board of HNS BiH and a member of the Croatian Parliament.

In media appearances for Večernji list, and later for some other media, Ljubić said that if the Election Law is not amended in a timely manner, an extraordinary session of HNS will be held, at which strategic decisions will be made that will change the political paradigm towards partners in BiH and towards current solutions in BiH. This would, as he said, mean "crossing the Rubicon".

"And what is beyond the Rubicon, we will all see together, and it will not leave anyone in BiH indifferent," added Ljubić.

When asked by Patria agency to the Croatian Parliament whether Ljubić's statements represent the Parliament's stance, or if they are his personal opinion, the Parliament responded: "The Croatian Parliament is a democratically elected representative body that brings together various political options and parties, and the Media Service of the Croatian Parliament is not authorized to interpret stances and opinions."

Professor Goran Kovačević from the Faculty of Criminal Justice, Criminology and Security Studies in Sarajevo believes that behind Croatia's attempt to discredit the Islamic Community in BiH lies a huge amount of money that the EU allocates for the stabilization of Europe.

Dr. Kovačević believes that Bosnia and Herzegovina can be an anchor for calming relations in Europe. Because, Bosnia and Herzegovina has a people with a 600-year tradition in Islam. Besides that, they are also a European people. Therefore, Bosnia and Herzegovina has a people who know both Islam and Europe.

The role of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a factor of stability, Kovačević said, unfortunately, does not suit Bosnia and Herzegovina's neighbors, primarily Serbia, but also Croatia. Kovačević believes that Serbia is trying to join the EU by creating chaos in BiH and then participating in its calming. On the other hand, Croatia also wants to be the capital of European Islam, despite the fact that the Islamic Community in BiH has a tradition that is 400 or 500 years longer than in Croatia.

The reason for such behavior, Kovačević says, is that a huge amount of money is allocated for participation in calming relations in the EU. For that reason alone, Kovačević believes, Croatia wants to impose itself as a leader on Islamic issues in Europe. This is, of course, an absurdity, given that Muslims in Croatia are a negligible religious group.
