Jusuf Pušina: After the death of Hadžija Fuda, Sarajevo lost another symbol

With the passing of Hadži Fuad Šehbajraktarević, Sarajevo lost its status symbol, a man who gathered people around him, socialized, offered friendships and helped others, said Jusuf Pušina, former BiH diplomat and current president of the Association „Friends of BiH“, who was a friend of Šehbajraktarević for more than 60 years, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

Hadži Fuad Šehbajraktarević, director of the funeral company „Bakije“ and a prominent Sarajevan, passed away last night in Sarajevo at the age of 73. He was one of the most beloved figures in Sarajevo, with exceptionally great energy and love for people. The funeral and burial of Šehbajraktarević will be held tomorrow at 5:30 PM at the Bakije cemetery Faletići, writes NAP.

- Hadži Fudo, as his friends called him, offered goodness not only in the religious sense but also in all other spheres of life. It was enough to meet him for your day to become beautiful. With his death, not only „Bakije“ and the Islamic Community in BiH lost, but the entire city. He attracted like a magnet, and at the same time radiated positive energy. He positively influenced many people – said Pušina.
