Jusko: A lapse in concentration resulted in an oversight, and I apologize to everyone

Following the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone for the construction of the bridge over the Sava River near Svilaj, an infrastructure facility of great importance that will connect BiH and Croatia, during his address, the Minister of Transport and Communications of BiH, Ismir Jusko, had a slip of the tongue where he read Corridor 5c as "ve-ce". Today, he issued a reaction via the social network Facebook, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

Yesterday, after 6 years of waiting, we commenced work on the bridge near Svilaj. In the last 2 months, together with my associates, I have done everything to ensure that something that has been long awaited finally gets realized. Sleepless nights, flu, and fever have taken their toll on me, culminating yesterday. A lapse in concentration resulted in me reading the Roman numeral V as the letter 'v' and, together with the letter c, I read it as Ve-ce. I fully admit the oversight and mistake made, and I sincerely apologize to everyone I offended by this act. More important to me than the speech was the fact that we are initiating something of strategic importance for the country, that more than 100 people got jobs yesterday, and that we are bringing life back to that region, but I made this oversight, and I admit it. I am a person of flesh and blood, and as such, I can make an oversight like the one yesterday. Please do not hold it against me...
