Jusić holds meeting with Political-Military Advisor at the U.S. Embassy in BiH Carrie Giardino

Deputy Minister of Defence of BiH for Policy and Plans Sead Jusić received the Political-Military Advisor at the Embassy of the United States of America in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Carrie Giardino.

Deputy Minister Jusić thanked Advisor Giardino for her visit and the support that the United States of America provides to Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly in the area of defence cooperation.

He informed Giardino about the current activities of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of BiH, with special emphasis on the Defence Review, the Implementation Plan of this document, and discussions were also held on the Modernisation Plan of the AF BiH, the fulfilment of conditions for the activation of the Membership Action Plan (MAP) for NATO, as well as other important issues for the defence sector.

Military-Political Advisor Giardino thanked Deputy Minister Jusić for his time and emphasised that the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of BiH can expect support from the U.S. Embassy in BiH in the future regarding our reform path, as well as our European and Euro-Atlantic path.
