Junior kickboxing representatives of BiH travel to Spain

Training and preparations of the junior national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina in kickboxing have been completed and our young representatives, among others the very successful Edin Sinanović, the best junior at the BiH Championship this year, are ready for the European Championship to which they are traveling tomorrow (August 21), reports the Patria News Agency.  

This significant competition will be held from August 23 to 29 in San Sebastian, Spain. The representatives of our country hope for good results.

- Edin Sinanović, a member of the kickboxing academy "Ilidža" and a junior representative of BiH, won a gold medal at the Balkan Championship held in Niš, Serbia in June. That great triumph was an excellent test for us, but it also gave us a boost of confidence when it comes to the competition ahead of us in Spain.

Our guys have trained diligently and are ready to face the new challenge and opponents. I personally believe that we will repeat the success from the Balkan Championship and, following our junior basketball players, continue the successful streak of young Bosnian-Herzegovinian athletes in Europe - said Nermin Bašović, coach of the kickboxing academy "Ilidža" and a gold medal winner at the World Championship in France in 2003, who was declared the best athlete in BiH in the same year.
