Juncker and Hahn arrive in Sarajevo, greeted by members of the BiH Presidency

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Chairman of the BiH Presidency Dragan Čović and Presidency members Mladen Ivanić and Bakir Izetbegović received Jean-Claude Juncker and Johannes Hahn at the BiH Presidency building.

European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn will be joined by Federica Mogherini, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

Mogherini was supposed to be with Juncker and Hahn at the Presidency, but due to bad weather, her plane could not land at Sarajevo airport.

- I speak to the youth in BiH: you are the future of this country and your future is in the EU. Your politicians must respond to your aspirations. The visit of European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker is proof of this European path - wrote Johannes Hahn on his Twitter profile before arriving in Sarajevo.

Incidentally, on December 9, 2016, in Sarajevo, Johannes Hahn handed over the European Commission Questionnaire to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Denis Zvizdić. It took BiH one year, two months and 19 days (446 days in total) to complete the Questionnaire.

Bosnia and Herzegovina answered 3,242 questions from the European Commission. Full consensus was reached on about 94 percent of the answers.

The Questionnaire will be handed over by the Chairman of the Presidency Dragan Čović and the Prime Minister of BiH Denis Zvizdić.
