The list of the selector of the "U-17" national team of BiH, Sakib Malkočević, for the EP qualifications also included the name of Red Bull Salzburg goalkeeper Valentin Jović, reports Patria.
- At the age of six, I started playing for Salzburg, where I still play today. I am happy to also play for the "U-17" national team of BiH. Many players want to play for their national team, and I am one of them - said Jović.
The young goalkeeper also commented on our team's chances in the qualifications:
- We have a strong team, but the opponents are not bad either. I think we can qualify for the Elite Round. Although Belgium and Switzerland always have good youth selections, I hope we will advance - added Jović.
Valentino is also enthusiastic about the Training Center in Zenica: "The conditions at the TC are great. The fields and accommodation are excellent. I have never been to a better football camp."
Valentino Jović also has his role model among goalkeepers: "It's Manuel Neuer, he is the best goalkeeper in the world for me."
