New trial date for Goran Zubac not yet scheduled

The continuation of the trial of Goran Zubac, Director of SIPA, scheduled for October 10, was cancelled at the request of his lawyer Dragiša Jokić, reports the Patria News Agency.

The Court had previously confirmed that Jokić had submitted a request for postponement of the hearing with certain medical documentation, which the court accepted.

However, a new trial date has not been scheduled to this day, and it is expected to be scheduled after October 18, as the presiding judge has not set a new deadline until then.

Otherwise, the BiH Prosecutor's Office accuses Goran Zubac of dereliction of duty, because he refused to provide the requested assistance to the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies during the violent demonstrations on February 7 in Sarajevo.

At the hearing scheduled for October 10 at the Prosecutor's request, Fahrudin Radončić, Nedeljko Škrba, Dragan Lukač, Dragan Golijanin and Blažan Trgić were supposed to testify about those events.
