Another playground in Ilidža enters the final phase of construction

(Patria) - In the past period, several children's playgrounds and sports and recreation fields have been built in the municipality of Ilidža.

In addition to the two large sports and recreation centers "Čarli" and "Beban", children's playgrounds have been built or renovated in the settlements of Donji Kotorac, Stojčevac, Lužani, Otes, Rakovica, Kovači, as well as in the settlement of Pejton.

At the same time, work is underway on two more playgrounds, in the local communities of Blažuj and Sokolović Kolonija.

The future gathering place for children and youth at the Gladno Polje site is in the final phase of construction, and its outlines are very visible.

"In the past period, we have done a lot to build and reconstruct facilities for sports, recreation, and for the safe and carefree play of Ilidža's youngest residents. Facilities like the playground in Gladno Polje are definitely something that the Blažuj Local Community has been missing, and it is our wish that every local community in Ilidža has a safe play area like this one," said the Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur, who once again praised the engagement and work of the Public Company Ilidža, which is the contractor for the playground construction.

All surfaces have been asphalted, goals and baskets have been installed, field lines have been drawn, and a protective fence has been erected at the future playground, which covers an area of 2,200 square meters.

Employees of the Public Company Ilidža have completed a large part of the work. The installation of playground equipment for the youngest children remains, and after the swings, spring riders, seesaws, slides, and climbing frames are installed, the opening of this playground in the Blažuj Local Community is expected soon.
