Amir Pašić Faća's detention extended by two more months

(Patria) - The Council of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo has made a decision to extend Amir Pašić Faća's detention for another two months, until March 16, the Municipal Court announced.

The Municipal Court previously (on January 15) confirmed the indictment of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office (KS) against Pašić for the criminal offense of psychological violence.

Pašić is accused of insulting the dignity of four female journalists, the Deputy Minister for Human Rights and Refugees of BiH, and the Minister of Internal Affairs of FBiH during the past year, using curses and insults via the social networks TikTok and YouTube, thereby violating their psychological integrity.

"This is an intense, sensationalist, highly offensive, and humiliating outburst by the suspect, aimed at violating the personality of the injured parties," the KS Prosecutor's Office announced.

The same indictment included a proposal to extend Amir Pašić's detention, where he has been held for almost three months, and a hearing was subsequently held on this proposal.
