As early as 1890, the "Grammar of the Bosnian Language" was printed

Polemics about the name and existence of the Bosnian language have been ongoing for years, and the recent events with the renaming to "Bosniak language" in schools in the RS area have sparked public reactions, and to a lesser extent professional ones, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Thus, these days one can find a photograph of the manual "Grammar of the Bosnian Language" written by Frane Vuletić, a professor at the Great Gymnasium in Sarajevo.

The publisher of this manual was the Provincial Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was in use until 1911, although in 1908 it was renamed and the word Bosnian was removed, replaced by Serbo-Croatian.

The Bosnian language existed and developed in these regions for centuries, and the name Bosnian language was in use until
1907, when the decision of the Provincial Government of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy abolished that name.
