Jerlagić: Armament procurement for Canton 10 MUP is reminiscent of the 'Karađorđevo' policy

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The news that the Canton 10 MUP intends to purchase several hundred new automatic rifles has provoked a sharp reaction from opposition parties in the Federation of BiH.

The president of SBiH and candidate for the BiH Presidency in the October elections, Amer Jerlagić, said that a few months ago, the RS MUP spent more than two million KM on the procurement of long firearms, and that HDZ BiH is using the same methods today.

“A similar situation with armament procurement is happening these days in the Canton 10 MUP, which is under the full control of HDZ BiH. These are quantities that significantly exceed the needs of the police in one of the least populated cantons in FBiH. These two armament procurements are not happening by chance in an election year, or in a year that is the most volatile since the cessation of hostilities 23 years ago, and in areas where Dodik and Čović rule almost autonomously. Both mention some coded plans, and it would not be surprising if the mentioned armament procurement is part of those plans,” Jerlagić stated.

He said that citizens remember receiving similar messages from Karađorđevo 26 years ago. “We will not allow plans B, C, or D to be seasoned with the rattling of weapons,” Jerlagić concluded.
