Jerlagić: Izetbegović can fulfill Radončić's wishes, but he cannot play games with SBiH

The Presidency of the Party of Socialists of Bosnia and Herzegovina will hold a session on Tuesday, October 20, where it will make a final decision on the status of this party in the new parliamentary majority at the Federation of BiH level, writes the Patria News Agency.

- Last night (Thursday, October 15), we held a Collegium session where we discussed the political situation in FBiH, after SDA President Bakir Izetbegović offered the Party of Socialists of Bosnia and Herzegovina something that was not agreed upon, SBiH President Amer Jerlagić told Patria.

Jerlagić reminds that SBiH played a significant role at the crucial moment when it was decided in the FBiH Parliament whether to proceed with fulfilling the laws from the Reform Agenda or whether that path would be blocked, and that it is not disputed that they continue to support everything related to reforms, because BiH's European path has no alternative.

- However, we were betrayed. Instead of the already agreed Ministry of Energy and some other positions, we are now being offered some other ministry. It is no longer a matter of whether a ministry is more important or not. It is a matter of principle and the agreement we reached, and now all of that is changing, Jerlagić explains.

He points out that it is more than obvious that SDA President Bakir Izetbegović is fulfilling the wishes of SBB leader Fahrudin Radončić.

- That is his right and his decision. However, we cannot allow, regardless of the fact that we are a small party, for anyone to play games with us. And that when they need us for the adoption of key laws, they offer us everything, and when that passes, they push us aside, Jerlagić points out.
