Jelovac: The story about a third entity has been on the table since 1994

Boro Grubišić (HDSSB) in the Croatian Parliament and some other opposition representatives called for the creation of a third entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Grubišić assessed in the debate on the report on Croatia's development aid abroad in 2012 that entering full EU membership enables Croatia to actively engage in resolving the issue of the Croatian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- With three entities, we have a much smaller administration and a cheaper state, which all three peoples will feel as their own, and this should not be spoken of timidly - said Grubišić.

He also congratulated Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanović for his visit to Mostar during the recent unrest in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This discussion surprised many, and the representative of the Bosniak national minority Nedžad Hodžić in the Parliament accused advocates of the third entity of drawing maps.

The President of the Assembly of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Ramiz Jelovac, stated in an interview with the Bosnian news agency Patria that nothing surprises them in this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but that Milanović's visit to Mostar was not as it was intended to be portrayed.

- The story about a third entity has been on the table since 1994, it is only a matter of in what form and with what intensity it is advocated and who will be its bearer - said Jelovac.

He explained that as the President of the Assembly of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, no one called him when Milanović was in Mostar.

- Well, how can we then say that Milanović's visit was actually a visit to the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton? That means his visit has nothing to do with the canton. Nothing surprising, as far as we from this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina are concerned - added Jelovac.
