Cheap electricity from 1 PM to 4 PM and from 10 PM to 7 AM, all day on Sundays

JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. Sarajevo has issued a notice to citizens regarding the new calculation of cheap and expensive electricity consumption, i.e., the change in hourly rates, in accordance with the transition to winter time, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

"We inform our valued electricity customers, supplied by JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. – Sarajevo, that with the transition to winter time on the night of October 25th to 26th, 2014, there will also be a change in the application of higher and lower daily tariff rates (the period when so-called cheaper and more expensive electricity applies).

For households with dual-tariff meters, from Monday to Saturday, lower daily tariff rates will apply from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and all day on Sundays.

For all other customers of JP EPBiH, from Monday to Friday, lower daily tariff rates will apply from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and all day on Saturdays and Sundays.

The price of electricity for households with a single-tariff meter is 12.82 feninga/kWh, while for households with a dual-tariff meter, the price is 16.02 feninga/kWh (higher tariff), or 8.01 fening/kWh (lower tariff), the statement reads.
