(Patria) - One person has been arrested in Tuzla on suspicion of posting posters at the Memorial Center on the anniversary of the Kapija massacre, glorifying convicted war criminals Novak Đukić and Ratko Mladić, reports Detektor.
Employees at the "Kapija" Memorial Center found posters with offensive content at the entrance to the building two days after the anniversary of this massacre.
The posters read "General, may your mother be glorified – Commander of the Army of Republika Srpska, General Ratko Mladić" and "Commander of Tactical Group Ozren, General Novak Đukić – with pride, your comrades-in-arms".
The police were also informed about the incident, and their officers arrested one person on suspicion of inciting national, racial, and religious hatred, discord, and intolerance in the Tuzla area on multiple occasions from the end of March to the end of May.
This information was confirmed to Detektor by the spokesperson for the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Tuzla, Admir Arnautović.
"One person has been arrested on suspicion of committing this criminal offense. The acting prosecutor has issued an order to conduct an investigation, and today a proposal will be submitted to the Municipal Court of Tuzla to determine a one-month detention measure," Arnautović added.
