One and a half flags erected by Dodik's proteges

One and a half crossed flags, which Dukić and his followers, as well as Dodik's political proteges, call a memorial cross, is nothing more than the most base and primitive way to gain cheap pre-election points for the regime and its servants who are inappropriately playing with those who built the foundations of Republika Srpska with their lives – it was announced today from the People's Democratic Party (NDP), reports Patria.

- In doing so, the political patrons of this grotesque idea wanted to try to wash their own conscience due to the fact that they had been announcing this project for years and inexplicably abandoning it for years – the statement reads, adding that the NDP "does not dispute the need to erect a monumental monument in memory of the thousands of fallen Sarajevo Serbs".

- What SNSD erected tonight, or rather its instrumentalized followers, even if they hide behind the Alliance of Prisoners of Republika Srpska, represents a slap in the face to common sense and the desecration of the Orthodox faith in the most bestial way. Even atheists are appalled by the level of primitivism and the way the memorial cross was erected, in the dead of night and without an atmosphere of reverence, which would have been implied on that occasion – it is stated.

The NDP emphasizes that they want to believe "that this is not a real intention to humiliate Serbian victims in this way, who deserve a grander and more monumental memorial, but, nevertheless, we cannot shake off the impression that the regime is washing itself of something in this way... with good prospects of never washing itself clean".
