Is the end of traffic jams in Rajlovac: Alternative route to be opened on Tuesday

The traffic jams created in Rajlovac by the closure of the bridge and part of Safeta Zajke street from Stup towards Rajlovac are finally coming to an end, as an alternative road will be opened to traffic on Tuesday afternoon, confirmed the Mayor of Novi Grad Municipality, Semir Efendić, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

The traffic jam has been ongoing for days, and drivers are losing patience and time, with many being late for work.

Due to the construction of a new bridge, traffic on the M-17 Stup-Rajlovac main road has been suspended on the section from the Briješće roundabout to the intersection of Rajlovac and Safeta Zajke streets. The current alternative route is via the Briješće roundabout to the bypass (part of the A-1 highway), then to the Butila interchange and further in the direction of Zenica (Jošanica) or Mostar (Vlakovo).
