(Patria) - As of June 15, 2023, Zoran Tegeltija from SNSD heads the Indirect Taxation Authority. The state coalition agreed that this position, as well as the position of Minister of Finance, would go to SNSD. Although SDP representatives announced that they were also seeking the position of Director of the ITA BiH, this ultimately did not happen. In August 2023, the new Minister of Finance, Srđan Amidžić from SNSD, was appointed, meaning SNSD secured two significant positions, and Amidžić, by virtue of his office, also chairs the Governing Board of the ITA BiH. In the previous period, the ITA BiH was headed by Miro Džakula, close to HDZ, for 12 years.
As Patria has learned, Tegeltija removed the BiH flag from the flagpole located in front of the Indirect Taxation Authority building in Banja Luka. Photos in Patria's possession confirm this.

The ITA is an independent administrative organization accountable to the Council of Ministers of BiH through its Governing Board. The ITA Governing Board has 6 members, of whom three are ex officio ministers of finance.
The headquarters of the ITA is in Banja Luka. Field activities are carried out through four regional centers - Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Mostar, and Tuzla.
In December 2023, we published the national structure of employees in the ITA BiH. The number of employed Serbs and Bosniaks is almost equal, while the Regional Center Sarajevo has the fewest employees.
