Has Čović turned his back on Dodik: 'All those who play with fire will not have the support of Croats'

(Patria) - HDZ BiH President Dragan Čović says he is convinced that security will not be jeopardized in BiH after prosecutors requested the arrest of RS President Milorad Dodik for undermining the constitutional order of BiH.

- I am convinced that security will not be jeopardized in any way, and all those who provoke or play with that fire will not have the absolute support of the representatives of Croats in any BiH institution - Čović told reporters.

Asked about the possible arrest of Dodik, he said he supports the work of state institutions.

- This order came from the Prosecutor's Office. There are five institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina that must be respected and honored - said Čović and called for de-escalation of tensions and dialogue.

He stated that local politicians should exclusively seek answers to the crisis with the support of the international community and by working on the country's Euro-Atlantic path.

- We need Euro-Atlantic integration today with the ambition of bringing BiH closer - Čović said.
