(Patria) - In Željezničar's defeat last night in the Conference League qualifiers against Neftci, Haris Ovčina suffered a serious injury.
Namely, during an aerial duel with a Neftci player, Ovčina was hit and suffered fractures to his cheekbone and upper jaw bone, and was admitted to the hospital in Baku.
Today, Haris Ovčina posted on social media, thanking everyone for their words of support.
“I just want to thank everyone for the large number of messages of support. To let you know that everything is okay, that there is no reason to worry, and that everything will be fine. They say luckily it was a Bosnian head,” reads the post by the Željezničar player.
