Canada thrashed Qatar and moved closer to the round of 16, Bosnia and Herzegovina holds everything in its hands

(Patria) - Canada convincingly defeated Qatar 6:0 in the second round of the World Cup at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, taking a big step towards qualifying for the knockout stage of the competition.

The Canadians decided the winner already in the first half with goals from Larin and a double from David, while Qatar played with a man down from the 33rd minute after Al Amin's red card. David scored the third goal for Canada in stoppage time of the first half.

The situation for Qatar became even more complicated at the start of the second half when Madibo received a red card for a rough tackle, leaving his team with nine players. Canada used the numerical advantage until the end of the match, reaching a convincing 6:0 through Saliba, an own goal by Al Mannai, and David's third goal.
