James O'Brien arrives in Bosnia and Herzegovina

(Patria) - Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O'Brien arrived in Sarajevo this evening.

He was greeted by the U.S. Ambassador to BiH Michael Murphy, and O'Brien is joined in Sarajevo by members of the North Atlantic Council (NAC), the main political decision-making body within NATO.

During his three-day stay in the country, O'Brien will hold numerous meetings with local officials, including members of the BiH Presidency and the Council of Ministers of BiH.

He will also meet with representatives of the international community in BiH, including High Representative Christian Schmidt.

Prior to his arrival in the country, he posted on his official X account.

At the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo, O'Brien will deliver a special speech tomorrow, presenting his view of the situation in the country through the eyes of the U.S. administration.
