Jakob Finci: If you are not in one of the national pens, then you are 'others', and 'others' are 'backward'

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - President of the humanitarian society "La Benevolencija" Jakob Finci said that he advocates for an independent and free Bosnia and Herzegovina, a country of equal citizens and peoples.

Unfortunately, Finci said, today it has become offensive if you tell anyone that you want to be a citizen, „because you must belong to one of the three large pens."

„If you are not in any of them, then you are 'others', and others are those who, it seems, are 'backward'," Finci stated at the regular session of the Association of Independent Intellectuals "Krug 99" today in Sarajevo. The topic of today's session was "What kind of society and state of Bosnia and Herzegovina do we want?"

The introductory speakers conveyed that Bosnia and Herzegovina is an indivisible and integral state of equal citizens, and that the time has come to stop manipulating collective, national identities, Patria reports.
