Dalmatia has been hit by severe weather from Zadar to Konavle, with alternating downpours, hail, thunderstorms and sleet, Croatian media report, as carried by the Bosnian news agency Patria.
On Wednesday morning, a waterspout appeared near the island of Murter, while another was recorded near the island of Čiovo, and snow fell on Svilaja, Kamešnica, Mosor, Biokovo and Zavelim, reports Dalmacija News.
Unstable weather has affected the hinterland of Šibenik since morning, then moved to the Trogir and Kaštela area and further east. The storm, accompanied by hail, hit the Neretva valley, the Zaton area and parts of southern Dalmatia.
Currently, the tramontana wind is blowing in Dalmatia, with strong gusts at sea.
