Heavy rain and hail hit Bihać

A strong storm with hail and thunder hit Bihać in the afternoon on Saturday, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

- Bihać citizens have not reported any material damage to the Civil Protection caused by the severe weather that hit Bihać today - it was announced from the Cantonal Civil Protection Administration of the Una-Sana Canton.

Allegedly, some local communities in Bihać experienced power outages, and the storm also damaged several cars.

According to data from the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute, Bosnia and Herzegovina is expected to experience increased cloudiness from the south today, which will cause rain, showers, and thunderstorms. In Herzegovina and western parts of Bosnia, the expected amount of precipitation ranges from 15 to 30 liters per square meter, locally up to 40 liters.

In the rest of the country, from 5 to 15 liters per square meter. Wind is light to moderate in strength from the west and southwest. The lowest morning air temperature is between 14 and 20 degrees Celsius, in the south of Herzegovina from 20 to 24 degrees Celsius.
