Heavy rain caused traffic collapse in parts of Sarajevo

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Sarajevo was hit by a severe storm around 2 p.m. today, causing problems in traffic flow. The main road was quickly under water, while the far right lane in the direction from Nedžarići towards the city was avoided due to the large amount of water.

Drinska Street is blocked, and the underpass towards Buča Potok is under water. Kilometer-long queues formed in both directions.

The Vojničko polje neighborhood is also under water, where water reaches up to half a meter. The same situation is in Mojmilo on the road used by the trolleybus.

The severe storm also hit Croatia and Serbia, and similar weather with precipitation is expected in the coming days.

In some neighborhoods, water entered basements, and some business facilities were also flooded.
