Strong Winds Hampering Traffic

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - This morning, drivers are warned of occasional strong gusts of wind. The risk of landslides is increased on sections passing through cuttings. We advise more cautious driving and remind you that possessing winter equipment is legally mandatory.

Due to renovation works, traffic is suspended on the Draksenić-Vrbaška main road section. During the works, passenger vehicles can use the local road (Podgradci-Jablanica-Sjeverovci-Božići), while freight vehicles are rerouted via Banja Luka and Prijedor. 

The start of works is announced for today in Radanovići, on the Blažuj-Gromiljak main road, due to which traffic will be slowed down to one lane between 08:00 and 16:00.

Traffic is slowed down due to works on the following routes: Konjic-Jablanica (Crnaja tunnel), Donji Vakuf-Jajce (Skela), Nemila-Žepče (Želeće), Doboj-Gračanica (in Klokotnica), Grude-Ljubuški (at the exit from Grude), and Stolac-Hutovo (in Cerovica).

Due to necessary works on the A-1 highway, on the Kakanj-Visoko section (bridge in Dobrinje settlement), traffic is two-way, using the opposite lane from the works zone. 

On the Tuzla-Kalesija road (due to works in the Čaklovići tunnel), traffic is suspended from 22:00 to 06:00 and rerouted to an alternative route via Dubrave. During the day, passenger vehicles from the direction of Tuzla pass through the tunnel, and from the direction of Kalesija via the bypass around the tunnel. Freight vehicles are also directed via the road over Dubrave during the day.

At border crossings, waiting times are up to 30 minutes.
