Jablanica receives new fire truck worth 300,000 KM

(Patria) - The Civil Protection Headquarters and the Civil Protection Administration of HNK today handed over the keys of a new fire truck, worth 300,000 KM, to the Mayor of Jablanica Municipality.

This vehicle is the 25th procured by the HNK Civil Protection Headquarters for the needs of fire services, and the third allocated to Jablanica Municipality.

The keys were handed over by the Commander of the HNK Civil Protection Headquarters and Minister of Finance of HNK, Adil Šuta, while the ceremony was also attended by the Director of the HNK Civil Protection Administration, Eugen Ćubela, and numerous representatives of the local community.

- Jablanica Municipality needs our support, and the donation of the fire truck is proof of our commitment and support, especially after the recent floods.



This donation is a concrete contribution to strengthening the capacities of the local community for faster and more efficient response to natural disasters, fires, and other types of interventions - Šuta said on this occasion.

The HNK Civil Protection Headquarters continuously works on strengthening firefighting capacities throughout the canton.

The new vehicle, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, will be of great importance for faster and more efficient firefighting interventions, especially in Jablanica, which faces challenges related to fires every year, as well as in the event of natural disasters and other fire service interventions.

The HNK Civil Protection Headquarters recognized the needs of this area and secured funds for the procurement of the vehicle, thereby significantly improving the safety and protection of the citizens of Jablanica.
