Report on Road Conditions in BiH: Driving on Mostly Dry Roads

On roads in BiH this morning, traffic is moving on mostly dry and occasionally wet roads. In the southwestern regions, we warn of occasional stronger wind gusts, reports the Patria news agency. 

Participants of the cycling marathon that started two days ago from Bihać will today travel on the route Sarajevo-Olovo-Kladanj-Vlasenica-Bratunac-Potočari.  We ask drivers on the mentioned route to drive more carefully and to follow the instructions of authorized personnel from the escort.

During the day, work will be carried out on repairing the lighting in the Kupreška vrata tunnel on the M-16 Bugojno-Kupres main road, where traffic will alternate using one lane. 

Among other roads with ongoing works, we highlight the main roads: Hadžići-Pazarić, Mostarsko raskršće-Kiseljak, Čapljina-Stolac and Čelinac-Kotor Varoš, as well as the M-5 main road transit through Sarajevo.

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the genocide against the citizens of Srebrenica and the burial of identified victims of the Srebrenica tragedy, today and tomorrow (July 10 and 11), the transport of explosive materials is prohibited in the territory of the Federation of BiH. 

The ban on the transport of explosive materials today and tomorrow (July 10 and 11) is also in effect on the M-19/M-19.2 main road Zvornik-Konjević Polje-Vlasenica-Luke, as well as on regional roads R-454 Konjević Polje-Bratunac, R-453/R-454a Drinjača-Bratunac-Srebrenica and R-452 Milići-Zeleni Jadar-Srebrenica. 

At border crossings this morning, there are no longer waiting times. During the day, larger crowds are expected at the Doljani border crossing, so we remind drivers that they can use the border crossings Trebimlja-Čepikuće (Ravno-Slano), then Zvirići, Bijača, Crveni Grm or Orahovlje. Due to works in Croatia at the Brčko-Gunja border crossing, traffic is prohibited for freight vehicles.
