Report of the Inquiry Committee in the Dragičević case to be considered on July 3

BANJA LUKA, (Patria) - Members of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska will not consider the report of the Inquiry Committee in the case of David Dragičević today, but will do so at the continuation of the session on July 3, reports the Patria agency. 

The Inquiry Committee examined officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, Minister Dragan Lukač, medical expert Željko Karan, Chief District Prosecutor Želimir Lepir, as well as the acting prosecutor in this case, Dalibor Vreća, regarding the circumstances of this case and possible omissions by the competent institutions. 

At an earlier session held on May 10, Davor Dragičević addressed the deputies and demanded that the murder of his son be solved. He filed several thousand criminal complaints with the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka related to this case. Citizens' protests are still being held at Trg Krajine, where the truth about David's death is being sought. 

One of the conclusions of the Inquiry Committee is that there are grounds for suspicion that the 21-year-old young man was killed, and they expect that the Prosecutor's Office of Republika Srpska will issue an appropriate prosecutorial decision on this matter as soon as possible. The Prosecutor's Office has not yet qualified this case. 

Mass protests by the Dragičević family and the group Justice for David have been announced for July 7 in Banja Luka.
