Bosnia and Herzegovina will chart a path out of the crisis only if patriotic forces overcome irrational obstacles in the political arena. For too long, for more than two decades, these patriotic forces have been losing battles with a defensive political strategy and by proving their status as endangered victims.
In such an environment, generations of politically potent but never realized cadres have emerged and disappeared, because the defensive strategy has constantly blunted the edge, thus helping the enemies of Bosnia and Herzegovina, no matter what they are called.
The best example is the fact that since the so-called April package and Silajdžić's 'no', no one has seriously entered into political confrontation, neither domestically nor externally. Until the defensive strategy completely collapsed when the High Representative Christian Schmidt, by decree suspending the Constitution of the FBiH, abolished the political will of the Bosniak people, in order to enable a vertical system of government according to his and his mentors' will.
Today, Bosniak politics has no strategy, because it has been broken by the line drawn by Schmidt and his American-British partners, following a very similar model of action towards countries in the Middle East with a Muslim majority.
After this line was drawn, there has been almost no serious attempt in Bosniak politics to consolidate the idea of a patriotic front and move towards as offensive a political strategy as possible. Because, approximately 40 percent of Bosniak politics is directly commanded by Schmidt and his partners, and in correlation with internal and regional policies that are tearing Bosnia and Herzegovina apart at the seams.
On the other hand, the remaining 60 percent of Bosniak politics is not in any serious cohesion that could inspire hope for the creation of a front that will stand on red lines when it comes to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Some time ago, I wrote that only a Bosniak is still afraid of Schmidt, and today I confirm this with great bitterness. Because, only a Bosniak, after a tragic four years and traumatic 30 years, can experience someone calling diplomatic trash in the middle of Sarajevo equating Ratko Mladić and Alija Izetbegović!
If Schmidt had said something against Mladić in Banja Luka or against Kordić in Mostar, EUFOR would have had to intervene to evacuate and save him. And in Sarajevo today, many Bosniaks will tell you: “Let Schmidt and the OHR stay, if they leave, there will be war.”
And now, supposedly, it's not war, they are just taking away our right to political representation, allowing the usurpation of state land, systematically convicting generals, ministers, and defenders, and comparing the first president of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a general of the Serbian army convicted of genocide and the most terrible crimes.
IT IS WAR! It is just being waged by different means and according to modified strategies. This is not a war in which courage and chivalry can change the course of history; this is a war in which we must try to defend ourselves from EXTINCTION, which Schmidt and his American-British mentors have planned for us, only through homogenized political consciousness and intellect!
Let's stop living in the skin of a victim. Because, if the world recognized that victim, it would not allow the victim to be deprived of the right to political will while those who made the victim a victim rule two-thirds of the country.
LET'S WAKE UP, now we need vigilance and political courage the most, and let's say ENOUGH to the High Representative. LET'S UNDERSTAND that Christian Schmidt is not the guardian of Dayton, but our GREATEST ENEMY. Let's stop being bewildered by fate and fearing the question of what will happen when he leaves, because the path he is directing us on from Sarajevo is much more dangerous.
LET'S REMEMBER that between Schmidt, the NDH, and the HVO fascists on one side, and Ratko Mladić and Radovan Karadžić on the other, there is NO difference. At the same time, it was forgotten too quickly and, I would say, easily forgiven when he criticized the reisul-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein ef. Kavazović, in a UN Security Council report simply because he stated that “we are ready to defend the country by all means”.
This is the first lesson we must learn in order to get rid of the fear that Bosnia will disappear without his tutelage. Bosnia will NOT disappear, but those who love Bosnia and Herzegovina will be freed from the yoke and have the opportunity to decide the fate of both the country and the people through their own policies.
SCHMIDT MUST GO! And there should be no more dilemmas about that. Because, everything he has done in the past three years has proven that he was installed in Bosnia to help it finally be divided. And on top of all that, unlike his predecessors, he is involved in resource affairs that have also been reported by international media.
SCHMIDT must GO because he was friends with Tuđman, because the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina saddened him with the murder of his Ustasha relative, so every move he makes can be viewed through the prism of revenge.
Time is running out and is currently not our ally, and we have a seriously united, widespread enemy front against us. Therefore, this is also a call to intellectuals to stop with the half-empty talk and finally start directing the strategic directions of the patriotic front's policy. Otherwise, Christian Luburić from Bavaria will start hanging us in Sarajevo. Politically and in every other way!
