Izetbegović: Čović was a mediator between me and Radončić, I informed him about what we discussed

A one-hour meeting has concluded at the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, attended by the presidents of SDA and HDZ BiH, Bakir Izetbegović and Dragan Čović, and the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Denis Zvizdić, reports a reporter from the Patria news agency.  

The Minister of Finance, Vjekoslav Bevanda, was also supposed to attend the meeting but was prevented due to obligations.

Izetbegović told reporters that most of the time at this meeting was spent discussing the coordination mechanism and programs through which young people would be employed, but he also informed Čović about the results of the meeting he had with the leader of SBB, Fahrudin Radončić.  

-The agreement between me and Čović from a few months ago was that he would be a mediator between me and Radončić. And now I informed him about what we talked about. There was no talk today about the reconstruction of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Izetbegović emphasized.

He said he hopes that today the Presidency of SDA will also unanimously confirm the decision of the Collegium of this party to change the coalition partner, i.e., for SBB to enter the government instead of DF.

When asked whether he informed Čović about the results of the meetings with the leaders of PDP and SDS, Mladen Ivanić and Mladen Bosić, Izetbegović said they did not have time.

Also, when asked whether the information that Bosić rejected the possibility of SBB's participation in the Council of Ministers was accurate, Izetbegović said that Bosić did not say that, and that it will be discussed at further meetings.
