Izetbegović: It is time for SDA to return and continue its work

(Patria) - It is time for the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) to return to power and continue its work, said the party's president Bakir Izetbegović in Sarajevo today.

Izetbegović addressed reporters after a regular session of the SDA Presidency, at which nine conclusions were adopted.

A regular session of the Presidency of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) was held in Sarajevo today.

He confirmed that he will be a candidate for the BiH Presidency in the upcoming General Elections.

- I asked for this to be thoroughly considered, and then I received one hundred percent support from all cantonal and regional committees and full support at the SDA Presidency session - said Izetbegović.

He assessed that it would be irresponsible to say that it is easy and safe to defeat "14 of them who have tied their fate and the fate of their parties to Denis Bećirović's victory".

- However, the fact is that the support for this entire cluster of parties is sinking, and I am convinced that people no longer want this kind of government.

Bećirović's remaining in power means the continuation of the Trojka and the further sinking of Bosnia and Herzegovina in every sense.

It is time for SDA to return and continue its work. We have always done our job well, both I and SDA - Izetbegović stated.
