Izetbegović: It is time to stop going in circles and move forward

I expect mature decisions from the voters, that they elect a mature team of people, party leaders who can form good coalitions and finally move this country out of this stagnation, diverse and integrative, reformist and economic, and out of this depression, I think the time is ripe for that, said Bakir Izetbegović, candidate (SDA) for the Bosniak member of the Presidency of BiH immediately after voting, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

Regarding forecasts and his own expectations, Izetbegović briefly said that everything will be known in a few hours. Otherwise, he came to the polling station accompanied by his wife, and exactly at 11 AM he cast his ballot into the box.

When asked by journalists what he would do to unblock BiH's path to the EU, Izetbegović said that he had already done everything he could.

- BiH must become part of Euro-Atlantic integration, and the sooner that happens, the sooner capital will flow to BiH, investments will come, and employment will start - said Izetbegović, adding that it is high time for that.

- I also think that politicians have matured to stop going in circles of mutual bickering, some personal instincts, and that we will be ready to make a step towards a better country. We should move in that direction. One should choose among politicians those who are less bad - said Izetbegović.
