Izetbegović arrived at SIPA accompanied by lawyer Senka Nožica

(Patria) - SDA President Bakir Izetbegović, accompanied by lawyer Senka Nožica, arrived today at the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), following an order from the BiH Prosecutor's Office which requested that Izetbegović be questioned based on a report by Slaven Raguž for the criminal offense of inciting and provoking national hatred.

Izetbegović issued a statement yesterday, stating that this summons from the Prosecutor's Office and SIPA is a clear message to him, Reuf Bajrović, and Emir Suljagić, and to Bosniaks, while genocide deniers remain free.

"The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina is deaf, mute, and blind to statements that deny genocide, insult victims and peoples. They have never summoned Dodik or other genocide deniers for questioning. They did not do so even when Slaven Raguž, president of the Croatian Republican Party, glorified war criminal Slobodan Praljak and advocated for the restoration of the so-called 'Herceg-Bosna'.

The statements about military strengthening and 'counting' which the Prosecutor's Office suddenly, two years after they were made, considers controversial, were made at a time when threatening, secessionist policies were escalating, accompanied by similar rhetoric from Republika Srpska and Serbia.

That was a time when Chetniks were singing 'how the bloody Drina will flow again', when Milorad Dodik threatened to forcibly take over the barracks of the Armed Forces of BiH in the territory of Republika Srpska 'as in 1992', when Serbian minister Vulin, spokesperson for the current Serbian regime, stated that 'the Balkans will only be stable when Serbs live in one state again', when messages of intensive armament were sent daily from neighboring countries, when attacks on Bosniak returnees in Republika Srpska intensified...
