Izetbegović: The "Trojka" got tangled up in all segments, fulfilled only five out of 100 measures

(Patria) - SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović was a guest on Hayat Television's "7Plus" show tonight, discussing the dismissals in the BiH Council of Ministers and other current political topics in BiH.

Izetbegović points out three reasons for the dismissal of the BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs, Elmedin Konaković.

- First, his connections with a drug cartel have been documented. People hope that the SDA will fall and that Konaković will take over power. They are helping him with visas and passports.

Second is his indolence in the "Kovačević" case, where BiH is represented by the HDZ delegation. There is neither a Serb nor a Croat.

Third - the debacle of the summit in Neum, but due to a rigged tender by his best man's daughter. The minister doesn't even know what's happening with the summit. If he had been there, he would have been a champion. He is one of the biggest culprits for this situation.

When the Constitution was changed in one day, when people were sent to prison, he was at the epicenter of all events. He is harmful to Bosniaks and the state, unworthy of the position.

He was caught off guard by the question about his mentor. He did not say who his mentor was for his diploma.

A man who goes on his first visit to Brussels and Dodik thanks him for not imposing sanctions. He boasts about all this, but he hasn't defended his people from the narrative of Islamic radicalism - states Izetbegović.

The state government adopted laws on border control and personal data, emphasizing that these are "European laws". Izetbegović explained the shortcomings of the Law on Border Control, due to which ambassadors will be able to allow people to bring weapons into the country.

- These are some visible things that get on our nerves. What is dangerous is that the BiH ambassador in Moscow or Belgrade can allow people to transport weapons. Then a person can enter the country with truckloads of weapons.

Whenever they want, the RS police can track who enters and leaves BiH and forward the data to whomever they want.

The SDP, together with the SNSD, passed a law, after which they said they didn't know how the Law on Residence would be applied. They don't know the essence of the danger that all this brings - emphasizes Izetbegović.

He also adds that the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers, Borjana Krišto, has 15 days to appoint new ministers if their dismissals occur.

- Krišto has 15 days to appoint a new minister. It is not impossible for them to appoint an HDZ Council of Ministers. It is difficult to imagine that Brkić will replace Konaković in the position.

I don't think they dare to do that. If it comes to that, we will endure about a year and a half with Brkić, who is a decent man - says Izetbegović.

He believes that the government has carried the "Trojka", as evidenced by the "Bjelašnica" affair, where Minister Bojan Bošnjak from Our Party is in custody.

- As for Forto, I fear he has done some things he shouldn't have. Uniforms were donated by a cartel, and he paid customs for them. The mayor of Donji Vakuf redirected funds from the FBiH to repair a company.

He went to prison for a year for a good deed. Forto seems to be guilty of what Bošnjak did in Bjelašnica, I fear that the government has carried them away - adds Izetbegović.

The government needs quarrels, Izetbegović believes, to last until the 2026 elections. He also adds that if Dodik and Čović remain untouched, the "Trojka" will not be able to do anything to them.

- All of them together are deceiving the people because they need all these quarrels. There is no need for them to outsmart each other because they have mechanisms.

Only the judiciary and the OHR can harm Dodik. If those two remain untouched, the "Trojka" can do nothing to them.

Dayton is such that all parties have the right to a veto. Dodik benefits from this, and Čović also doses it as needed.

The "Trojka" has fulfilled only five out of 100 promised measures, says Izetbegović. He adds that political brawls and striking bold moves help them before the 2026 elections.

All public enterprises and the FBiH Government were in the black. They have spent all of that long ago and then borrowed a billion. Now that is not enough for you to buy anything.

You see that budget is falling. I have no information about a recomposition in the FBiH. Politicians plan one thing and do another. They will gladly jump into power - concluded Izetbegović.
