Izetbegović signed: Claims Tihić didn't have the strength to deal with the lists

SDA Deputy President Bakir Izetbegović stated today after leaving the Central Election Commission that the party submitted candidate lists, but without the signature of the Party of Democratic Action President Sulejman Tihić, reports the BH News Agency Patria (NAP). Izetbegović told reporters that he signed the lists, with Tihić's authorization.

- Due to his health condition, Tihić did not have the strength (kuveta) to deal with the lists. When he saw that everything was unanimously adopted, he gave me authorization and I signed the lists, and we finalized everything with a notary - Izetbegović said, among other things. However, it remains unclear, if Tihić did not have the strength to deal with the lists, what was Zukić doing yesterday in front of the building where the SDA president lives and what documents was he delivering.

This morning, Izetbegović, accompanied by Vice President Asim Sarajlić and Secretary General Amir Zukić, arrived at the Central Election Commission to submit the candidate lists, reports the BH News Agency Patria (NAP).

As we reported yesterday, he had serious objections to certain candidate lists and demanded changes, NAP reports.

Ten minutes after Izetbegović, Sarajlić, and Zukić, Nermina Kapetanović, a member of the SDA Presidency, also arrived at the Central Election Commission, carrying a folder.
