Izetbegović: SDA will not seek another partner, our partner is DF

SDA Deputy President Bakir Izetbegović told reporters in Sarajevo today that he had coffee with HDZBiH leader Dragan Čović, but was not ready to talk about anything more without a third party, namely the Democratic Front, which he hopes will return to negotiations on establishing government at the FBiH level, reports a reporter of the Patria news agency.

-I would be truly happy if we had finished this job on Sunday, but Mr. Komšić left the meeting too early, and I think it is time now for all of us to take a step back and abandon maximalist demands, Izetbegović explained and added:

-I understand Mr. Komšić, who did make some concessions earlier, and acted as he did in a moment of affect. But from what I'm hearing, they are ready to sit down at the negotiating table again.

Given that Izetbegović, as he confirmed for Patria, is traveling to Turkey tomorrow where he will receive an award, a new meeting cannot be expected before Friday, possibly the weekend.

-Yes, it is true that I am traveling, but I also believe that by the weekend we will have agreed on the distribution of ministerial positions in the FBiH Government. Because it is very important that we have a coherent government at all levels, and in any case, we will not seek another partner besides the one we already have in DF, Izetbegović emphasized.
