Izetbegović: The result of violence against the Constitution and the will of Bosniaks is the disintegration of FBiH and the biggest crisis we have had in BiH

(Patria) - President of the Party of Democratic Action Bakir Izetbegović attended the 2nd Convention of the Women's SDA organization, which is being held today in Sarajevo.

Addressing the delegates, Izetbegović emphasized that the women of SDA are one of the most important components in the political struggle waged by SDA.

- Today we are fighting for the truth, today we are opposing lies, and today we are fighting against injustice based on those lies, against subtle and open Islamophobia. We are again defending our people, our deserving individuals who have experienced an incredible pogrom – said Izetbegović.

In this context, Izetbegović particularly highlighted the case of former federal Prime Minister Fadil Novalić, whom he described as a paradigm of the injustice being done to the Bosniak people. He added that the president of SDP was brought to Novalić's position in the Government of FBiH through violence against the Constitution and the suspension of the will of the Bosniak people.

- The result of this political joint criminal enterprise is the accelerated disintegration of FBiH and a crisis at the BiH level that we have not had before – stated Izetbegović.

In this context, he singled out some of the actions of the "Trojka" parties that have led the country to its most difficult state since the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement, which are listed in the chronology published by SDA on the anniversary of the decision to suspend the Constitution of FBiH for one day to the detriment of the Bosniak people.

- They accepted the suspension of the Constitution for one day so that the presidents of the three parties could sit in the prime ministerial and ministerial chairs. They silently accepted Dodik's statement that the Serb-Croat bloc, not the "Muslims", will determine who will be in power in this country. They were silent and waited for that power to be given to them.

They lied to themselves and the people that Dodik had changed, and we see how he has changed. The President of FBiH is a Croat and the Vice President is a Serb, and without the signature of the Bosniak Vice President, who has three times more support than all of them combined, they appointed the Government of FBiH. A minority has determined our government. They agreed to strengthen the ties between SNSD-HDZ and hand over all levers of power to those parties. They handed over the fourth hand to SNSD in the House of Peoples, agreed to HDZ's demands on changes to the Election Law and the election of Vukoja to the Constitutional Court. They handed over the security and financial sectors to SNSD. Bosniaks have been reduced to 25 percent of positions in the Council of Ministers of BiH – Izetbegović singled out, among other things.

Citing specific positions that the "Trojka" parties have handed over to SNSD and HDZ BiH, the SDA president also pointed to the current problems faced by JP Elektroprivreda BiH, which are the result of the business policy pursued by the Government of FBiH and the incompetent management of this public enterprise. He then reminded of the fact that "Trojka" handed over the entire road infrastructure construction sector to HDZ, including the position of director of JP Autoceste FBiH.

- They expelled opposition representatives from the Commission for Elections and Appointments to enable the election of Vukoja to the Constitutional Court, and then to make changes in the Management Board of FTV. All Bosniaks have been removed from the Regional Board of the Indirect Taxation Authority in Sarajevo. In the management of the Development Bank, out of five members, only one is a Bosniak. They promised a minimum wage of 1,000 KM, they deceived citizens, but they increased their own salaries by about 400 KM – added Izetbegović.

Izetbegović also touched upon macroeconomic indicators that indicate negative economic trends in FBiH during the rule of the current government, particularly highlighting borrowings of around one billion KM in the first year of the current government's mandate.

- Finish this election. The work is ahead of us, primarily the fight for our country, our people, and their equality – Izetbegović concluded.
