Izetbegović met with Johnson and Clinton

Chairman of the BiH Presidency Bakir Izetbegović met in New York with the British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson. The British head of diplomacy expressed satisfaction with the progress achieved by Bosnia and Herzegovina on its path to the European Union, and the reforms implemented. He congratulated the Chairman of the BiH Presidency Izetbegović on the acceptance of BiH's application for membership in the European Union, Patria reports.

Minister Johnson emphasized the readiness of Great Britain to continue to provide full support to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the process of integration into the EU and NATO.

During the meeting, the current political situation in BiH and the region was discussed, and the importance of stability and integration processes was highlighted.

The Chairman of the BiH Presidency also participated in the annual meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative in New York, where he attended a panel discussion on reconciliation and coexistence. After that, he met with former US President and founder of the Clinton Global Initiative, Bill Clinton. In an open and friendly conversation, they discussed the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a special emphasis on BiH's progress on the path to the European Union and NATO.
