Izetbegović: Radončić has not yet given the green light for entering government

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Bakir Izetbegović, president of the SDA, said he met with the president of the SBB, Fahrudin Radončić, but that there is still no green light from the SBB and that talks about entering the government will continue.

"We need a broad front. The fewer parties in the opposition and the more parties, pro-Bosnian, in the position," Izetbegović said for Avaz TV.

We recall, at the last meeting of the leaders of the SDA, HDZ and SNSD, the distribution of portfolios in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina was discussed, and after the meeting, Milorad Dodik said that Fahrudin Radončić was mentioned as Minister of Security. For now, the SDA has formalized a coalition with the Democratic Front, but also hopes for the SBB, while the SDP BiH and Our Party have previously refused to be part of the government with national parties.

Speaking about the formation of the government in the Tuzla Canton, Izetbegović said he does not know how the situation will be resolved.

"I think the left-wing parties unnecessarily created a problem. I cannot speculate what will happen," Izetbegović said.

When asked whether the SDA, SBB and PDA could be together, Izetbegović said why not, but that the PDA refused when the SDA offered it.
