Izetbegović lets Dodik and Čović tie themselves up on the most important issue - money distribution

Željko Komšić, leader of DF, guest on RSG radio said that the story about the Council of Ministers is over and there are no more "exchanges and games, I give you this, you give me that", reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- We were not in favor of the position of Minister of Finance in the FBiH Government at the beginning. And I told Mr. Izetbegović (SDA Deputy President Bakir, op.a.) that he is again letting Čović and Dodik tie themselves up on the most important issue, which is the distribution of money.

Prime ministers and ministers are in the Management Board of the Indirect Taxation Authority, the Fiscal Council, they distribute state money. If DF does not take the Ministry of Finance, this Čović-Dodik axis would have four positions in these two bodies, and SDA two. I don't know if SDA doesn't know this, but I keep warning them about something – said Komšić.

However, HDZ BiH is not giving up on that position, to which Komšić said that they can form a minority government and that DF will support it.

- We said, form that government, do you want to bring Radončić into that government, feel free to bring him in. You don't want Radončić for "xy" reasons and that's fine with us. SDA doesn't want Radončić.

At the first talks with SDA and HDZ, they asked us what we wanted. We have an obligation to fight for our voters. Čović's voter cannot be worth more than DF's. If SDA wants to equate its nearly 300,000 votes with Čović's 118,000, that's their problem, but I don't intend to devalue my voters that much – said Komšić.

Komšić said during his presentation that he must stand behind the dignity of his voters, and he asks the same from HDZ and SDA to respect voters.

When asked if there was pressure from individuals within the party, Komšić said that perhaps they talk among themselves, but no one has said anything to him publicly.

- I will never sacrifice politics for anyone's ambition. To sacrifice this direction I am taking for someone's ambitions. People are people, there are probably those who see themselves in positions, but no one says it out loud. Politics is important, it is possible that there will be hurt and disappointed people. We are here for politics and political goals, said Komšić.

Speaking about relations with coalition partners, he said that they are trying to devalue them.

- Izetbegović told me on Saturday that I would do it, that I am a patriot. I told him that I had spent my political patriotism on forming the Council of Ministers, it's not a card to play. They say about me that he did it in a fit of passion, what passion, I was stone-cold, it will always be like that – he emphasized.

A DF voter is equal to an HDZ voter

Komšić said that he has not yet received an official invitation to continue talks from SDA.

- I'm not sitting at home waiting for Bakir to call me. I told some people from SDA to go and agree with HDZ, what and how, if you can agree to respect the basic principle of the number of votes. Don't negotiate with us anymore. We are ready to be in opposition, but principles must apply here as everywhere in the world. A DF voter is equal to an HDZ or SDA voter, and I will not gamble with that anymore, Komšić stated.

The left wing together in local elections

When asked about the unification of the left and relations with SDP, Komšić said that during the campaign they wanted to put him in conflict with SDP.

- But I cannot have a problem with SDP, we think the same and want the same. I am not an opponent of HDZ or SDA, but of a perverse and bad policy that is pushing this country into something that no one knows how it will end. The story of unification is too big and premature. I cannot make that decision, the party can. Local elections are coming soon, we can appear together – said Komšić.
