Izetbegović received Ambassador Jonathan Moore on a farewell visit

Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency member Bakir Izetbegović received Ambassador Jonathan Moore, Head of the OSCE Mission in BiH, on a farewell visit.

Ambassador Moore, after a three-year mandate at the head of the OSCE Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is soon leaving this duty and our country, and on this occasion, he visited the Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bakir Izetbegović.

During the visit to Presidency member Izetbegović, Ambassador Moore expressed gratitude for the support, openness in communication, and patient joint work in rebuilding and building better relations among the peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He expressed regret that unresolved issues of discrimination in the education of returnee children in the RS entity remain behind him, and hope that this will change soon.

The member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bakir Izetbegović, emphasized that the OSCE Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the person of Ambassador Moore, has been a very experienced, competent, and well-intentioned individual in the past period, who leaves a positive mark on Bosnian society. With expressions of gratitude for his overall contribution to the development of Bosnian society, Izetbegović wished Ambassador Moore success in his continued diplomatic career.

Presidency member of BiH Izetbegović and Ambassador Moore expressed hope that the OSCE Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with domestic politicians, will continue to work on providing support to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its path towards regional political, economic, and social integration.
