Izetbegović moves from words to deeds: Like Cvijanović, he "plastered himself" above a dumpster

The election campaign is well underway (although officially from September 12), and towns across BiH have overnight become plastered with posters of candidates for the upcoming General Elections in October, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

However, one thing is certain. There is no shortage of creativity when it comes to positioning posters. Earlier, the Patria agency published a poster of Željka Cvijanović in front of which there was a trash bin blocking the view of the SNSD candidate for the BiH Presidency. A similar recipe was used by Bakir Izetbegović, the candidate for the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency, whose poster was plastered above three dumpsters on an existing advertisement for an imported beer.

It should be recalled that Izetbegović had previously expressed a preference for Cvijanović in an interview with Banja Luka's Nezavisne novine, in which he said he would rather see her in the BiH Presidency compared to other candidates for the Serb member.

- A lady would be a breath of fresh air in the BiH Presidency. Of course, there will be pre-election rhetoric in the style of Milorad Dodik, about some kind of returning of competencies from the state to the RS and so on. But Željka is a pragmatic person and I am sure that, as soon as the elections are over, she will continue on the path that the SNSD followed when we were making progress in the country. The main reforms, the creation and strengthening of state institutions, the unification of the armed forces and the security sector, all of that was done with the support of the SNSD – said Izetbegović at the end of July, as reported by NAP.
